Hi community, hi veggie-lovers!
The past ten years have been both wonderful and challenging: shaped by enthusiasm, drive, and a deep passion for sustainable agriculture—but also marked by moments of overwhelm. Our commitment has always been to work in a way that is both high-quality and ecologically responsible.
That’s why we’ve reimagined our business. Fräulein Lenz is now becoming Frau Lenz!
You can still get our vegetables through the market day or our produce box. What’s new is our self-harvest option (check out more under "self-harvest").
Take a look - we’d love to have you with us!

Our Locally Grown Vegetables
In our Market Garden vegetables are grown with care, respect for nature, and lots of hands-on work.
In our cultivation, we pay attention to a balanced crop rotation and regularly use green manures to maintain long-term soil fertility. We do not use chemical pesticides. Instead, we strengthen our plants naturally: we fertilize with our own compost as well as purely plant-based, organic-certified fertilizers and soil activators. Additionally, we use plant-based liquid manures.
To prevent and support against fungal diseases or pest infestations, we rely on proven natural methods such as herbal teas and beneficial insects.
We grow most of our seedlings ourselves from open-pollinated organic seeds from Bingenheimer, Sativa, and ReinSaat. This ensures that exactly what we carefully sow will grow.
Depending on the season and crop, we complement our selection with purchased seedlings from Germany, exclusively from organic-certified farms.
In this way, we combine traditional cultivation methods with modern insights from ecological vegetable farming—for healthy vegetables grown responsibly and with passion.
Join us on our first Market Day on May 8th 2026 and then every Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.!
We'll start our CSA boxes on April 4th, 2026!
Frau Lenz vegetables are also served in local restaurants!
At Klostermühle head chef Michael Brehm and his team create exquisite dishes using freshly harvested Frau Lenz vegetables and other carefully selected ingredients. The culinary experience can be perfectly enjoyed on a mild summer evening on the terrace, with views of the park and the adjacent vegetable garden.
We're always delighted to supply Herr Jacobs’ kitchen with our vegetables. Herr Jacobs cuisine is regional, diverse, and transparent; the bistro is charming and inviting, the head chef warm, and the dishes a true delight.
Want to spent some time in nature? Naturresort Waldglück is a wonderful place in Sippersfeld, where you’ll find warm hosts and a beautiful setting. You can stop by for a short visit, spend a few days enjoying nature, or dine and celebrate in the renovated country inn. Frau Lenz vegetables are also on the menu!
